About us

We turn one record into
a month of short-form.

Music Clipping Agency is the music arm of Lumina Clippers. We find the moment in a record that people want to use, cut it into native short-form, and put it in front of real audiences through a network of 62,900+ creators.

Meet Rhys McKay.

Founder, Music Clipping Agency

Rhys started Lumina Clippers after watching artists and labels pay for reach that never turned into listeners. Playlist placements came and went, ad spend bought impressions, and nothing carried a record into the places where people actually discover music.

So he built the other half. One team that finds the moment in a record, cuts it properly, and gets it posted natively by creators who already have the audience, instead of asking an artist to coordinate hundreds of people themselves.

A great song does not break on the chart anymore. It breaks when real people start using the sound. Our entire job is to make that happen at scale, in the two weeks that decide everything, and then prove it moved streams.

What we are building

Built for the two weeks
that decide a record.

Our mission

Get an artist the full value of a record they have already paid to make. The song exists. What is missing is the short-form that makes people go looking for it.

Our vision

Short-form reach that behaves like a media buy. Predictable, because the creators posting are a network we brief and keep, rather than a list we rent.

How we work

One workflow,
from record to reach.

Step 01

Discovery

We listen to the record and find the seconds people would actually use. Sound, lyric, drop, whatever the moment is.

Step 02

Strategy

Nothing gets cut before the brief is written. Hooks, captions and the platform mix are fixed first, so each clip is built for the feed it lands in.

Step 03

Clipping

Editors cut the record into dozens of native vertical clips. Not one video trimmed down. Separate pieces, each built to work on its own.

Step 04

Distribution

Clips are posted natively by creators across TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X, every one on your official sound and rights cleared before it goes up.

Step 05

Reporting

Views are checked against bot activity, then reported back against what moved on streams and saves.

The network

The creators are
the whole product.

Trust does not transfer. A clip only works if the person posting it already has an audience that believes them, which is why we run a network rather than a marketplace, and why creators are kept rather than bid for job by job.

Three checks, none optional. Creators are vetted before they touch a campaign, posts are rights-cleared before they go up, and every view is tested against bot activity before it reaches your invoice.

Our values

What drives
the way we work.

Quality over quantity

A thousand weak clips are worth less than fifty that people finish. We cut for retention, not for a delivery count.

Transparency

You see the clips and the accounts they went out on. Nothing gets reported that you cannot open in a browser and check yourself.

Innovation

Formats decay. What worked last quarter stops working, so hooks and cuts keep getting tested and the next campaign is never just the last one run again.

Partnership

We grow only when our artists and our creators grow. Both sides of the network have to win or the model stops working.

Long-term thinking

Release week is not the whole life of a record. A catalogue keeps earning, so campaigns are built to be run through the same track again later.
