How to choose a clipping agency for music

Search this term and you get lists. Ranked, unsourced, usually written by somebody with a stake in the ranking. This page does something narrower. It sets four operating models next to each other and compares them on the parts that change what you actually receive at the end of a campaign.

We are one of the four, which is worth saying before you read any of it. This site is a music clipping agency: we cut one record into dozens of native vertical clips, get them posted on real creator accounts tied to your official sound, and bill on verified views. See the case studies or book on contact.

Four agencies. Four operating models.

Four different approaches to music clipping, side by side. Read the network numbers as scale, not as quality scores.

PUBLICLY STATED CREATOR / CLIPPER COUNT, COMPANY-REPORTED

Clipping Culture states that it has run campaigns for artists including Steve Aoki, Lil Baby, Polo G and Rich The Kid. Spade Clipping positions itself specifically around music and entertainment campaigns. Clipping Culture describes its model around creator distribution, submission review and verified reporting.

Important: network size alone doesn't determine campaign quality. A larger network can mean more distribution opportunities, but relevance, creator quality, campaign execution and reporting still matter.

Anatomy of a campaign

The part of the pitch deck nobody shows you.

Every agency sells distribution. Very few will walk you through the six stages one clip passes on its way to a feed, or name the two checkpoints that decide whether a campaign stays controllable or just gets loud.

When an agency can only describe stages 3 and 5, you are buying uploads. When it can describe 4 and 6 in detail, you are buying a campaign you can actually steer mid-flight.

Model by model

What each model
is actually good at.

Four different approaches to music clipping, side by side. Scale, not quality. The network numbers below describe how many accounts each agency claims access to, which tells you very little about whether the right accounts will post your record.

REACH

Music Clipping Agency THIS SITE

Best for: performance-led clipping + large-scale distribution

We run one product. Clips cut from your master, posted on real creator accounts tied to your official sound, rights-cleared, and billed on verified views instead of a monthly retainer. If you are weighing an agency against running it in-house, that comparison is on agency versus DIY.

ClipHaus

Best for: music-first creator campaigns

Music-led, and open about it. Their network is built around artist campaigns aimed at social discovery, and they state a larger creator roster than ours.

Clipping Culture

Best for: scale + reporting infrastructure

The biggest stated network on this page. They publish 250,000+ clippers and 10B+ views, and pair creator distribution with verified-view reporting at that scale.

Spade Clipping

Smaller by design. Spade positions itself around music and entertainment campaigns on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with a stated network of 30,000+ creators.

What proof looks like

What campaign-level proof
actually looks like.

Campaign-level proof beats generic metrics. These are the kinds of creative outputs, placements and operating signals a music campaign should be able to show.

Nothing scales until it is wired. Creator selection, format rules and reporting get connected first, then volume goes on top of that.

NATIVE BY DEFAULT

Native by default, not by accident

Briefs match the creator, not a template. Each one is written for the format that creator already posts in, which is why the clip does not read as an ad.

One track, the right moment

Every brief names a timestamp. The creator gets the exact seconds of the record to build on, plus the angle the campaign is built around.

Talk to us

Because scaling music shouldn't mean scaling uncertainty.

Before any of those calls, how clipping CPM works lists the five red flags in a quote. Send the track and tell us who else you are talking to. We will show you where we differ from the other agencies on this page, including the places where one of them is the better fit for what you are trying to do. Before any of those calls, it is worth reading what a clipping campaign actually involves.
